Perioada sărbătorilor transformă școala fiului meu într-un adevărat podium de modă… pedagogică. În timp ce elevii numără zilele până la vacanță, profesorii își numără cardiganele, tricourile cu mesaje și puloverele scoase strategic din dulap doar în luna decembrie. Pentru că, evident, stilul vestimentar depinde foarte mult de materia predată.

Eu am facut un top personal al profesorilor dupa felul in care se imbraca de sarbatori:

• Doamna de mate rămâne fidela tradiției. Ea apare îmbrăcata în pulovere urâte cu modele geometrice și reni așezați în progresie aritmetică. Pe dedesubt, aproape întotdeauna, se ascunde un tricou cu mesaj de tipul „Do Math Not Magic”. Cardiganul e etern: gri, bej sau „culoarea integralei nedefinite”. Chiar și de sărbători, profesoara de mate arată ca și cum ar putea rezolva o problemă în orice moment, inclusiv pe sania lui Moș Crăciun.
• La română, garderoba e un amestec de boem și festiv. Cardigane lungi, tricotate misterios, pulovere cu fulgi de nea romantici și tricouri cu mesaje(teacher shirts) precum „Nothing Beats Reading”. Există profesoare tinere si îndrăznețe, care aleg tricouri cool, cu referințe literare minimaliste. Acestea sunt privite cu suspiciune: „Cum adică doamna de română are tricou trendy? Sigur urmează un test.”

• Profesorul de istorie rămâne consecvent stilului sobru. Puloverele lui urâte(ugly cardigan sweater for teacher) arată de parcă au fost martore la Marea Unire, iar cardiganele par moștenite dintr-un muzeu. Totuși, in scoala sunt si unii tineri care surprind plăcut alegând tricouri cool cu mesaje precum „Six Seven History”. Elevii sunt șocați: profesorul nu doar că predă istorie, dar e și… cool. Sau cel puțin încearcă.
• Profesorii de chimie și fizică sunt campioni la tricouri cool. „Think Like A Proton Always Positive”, „What Doesn’t Kill You Mutates And Tries Again” sau glume cu particule care apar peste tot. Tricourile au eprubete, fulgi radioactivi și formule festive. Cardiganele sunt purtate strategic doar când e frig în laborator sau când directorul trece pe hol.
• Și apoi sunt cei care aleg exclusiv tricourile cool. Indiferent de materie, acești profesori demonstrează că moda și autoritatea pot coexista. Ei nu poartă pulovere urâte „pentru că nu sunt pe vibe-ul lor”. Elevii îi consideră legendari, iar colegii îi privesc cu o ușoară invidie.

Sper ca v-a placut topul meu si ca ati inteles ca de sărbători, profesorii nu doar predau, ci se exprimă. Prin cardigane, pulovere urâte sau tricouri cool, fiecare ținută spune o poveste. Despre Crăciun, despre materie și despre curajul de a purta ceea ce-ti place.

The holiday season transforms my son’s school into a veritable fashion… pedagogical catwalk. While students count the days until vacation, teachers count their cardigans, T-shirts with messages, and sweaters strategically taken out of the closet only in December. Because, obviously, clothing style depends a lot on the subject taught.

I made a personal top of teachers according to the way they dress for the holidays:

• The math teacher stays true to tradition. She appears dressed in a teacher sweater with geometric patterns and reindeer arranged in arithmetic progression. Underneath, almost always, there is a T-shirt with a message like “Do Math Not Magic”. The cardigan is eternal: gray, beige, or “the color of the indefinite integral”. Even during the holidays, the math teacher looks like she could solve a problem at any time, including on Santa’s sleigh.
• At Romanian, the wardrobe is a mix of bohemian and festive. Long, mysteriously knitted cardigans, sweaters with romantic snowflakes and T-shirts with messages like “Nothing Beats Reading”. There are young and daring teachers who choose cool T-shirts with minimalist literary references. These are viewed with suspicion: “What do you mean the Romanian lady has a trendy T-shirt? She must have a test coming up.”
• The history teacher remains consistent with the sober style. His ugly sweaters look as if they witnessed the Great Union, and the cardigans seem to have been inherited from a museum. However, there are also some young people in the school who pleasantly surprise by choosing cool T-shirts with messages like “Six Seven History”. The students are shocked: the teacher not only teaches history, but is also… cool. Or at least he tries.
• Chemistry and physics teachers are champions of cool teacher t shirts. „Think Like A Proton Always Positive,” „What Doesn’t Kill You Mutates And Tries Again,” or particle jokes wich are everywhere. The T-shirts feature test tubes, radioactive flakes, and festive formulas. Cardigans are worn strategically only when it’s cold in the lab or when the principal walks by.

• And then there are those who exclusively opt for cool T-shirts. Regardless of the subject, these teachers prove that fashion and authority can coexist. They don’t wear ugly sweaters „because they’re not their vibe.” Students consider them legendary, and their colleagues look at them with slight envy.
